Labor shortages and key supply chain disruptions have been worsened by the pandemic are affecting business across the country especially as we head into the holiday season.
If this isn't reason enough to get serious about installing a bidet then I don't know what is...Oh wait that's right in addition bidets are environmentally and hygienically superior to a traditional toilets in every way.

Spraying Since Back in the Day
The Bidet is believed to have been created sometime around the 1700's by French furniture makers, however no one knows exactly when it came into being.
Although the bidet was invented centuries ago, it has just begun to gain popularity in the United States. Only 20% of U.S. households use bidets compared with 80% of other industrialized nations.

Its highly likely if you are reading this you know what a bidet is but just to make sure we are on the same page I want to clearly define it.
A bidet is a plumbing fixture or type of sink intended for washing the genitalia, perianal area and inner buttocks of the human body.

Bidets cut down on waste; only a small amount of water is typically needed for each use.
An average bidet uses approximately 1/8 of a gallon of water to clean and flush vs a standard toilet of 1.6 gallons per flush.
Typically, with bidets less TP is needed for cleanup which in turn saves on the 12 to 37 gallons it takes to make just one roll of toilet paper.
As such, adding a bidet to your home is an eco-friendly choice as well.
Bidets use significantly less water than a traditional flush, so they will most likely have the positive affect of lowering your monthly water bill.

Bidets can help with cleaning and maintaining health and hygiene, but they also offer an alternative to using toilet paper which can increase the risk of certain types of infections.

People who have problems handling bowel movements will find it extremely helpful as part of their daily toileting routine.
Misconceptions of Using a Bidet?
Some people incorrectly think that bidets are not as hygienic as other methods for cleaning up after business.
Bidets are better than toilet paper because they rinse off any remaining fecal matter. Whereas with toilet paper you are just smearing poo around on your skin and into your pours.
That's gross, seriously.
With a bidet, you can spray your backside with water and get rid of all those germs before touching anything else!
For those who grew up using toilet paper may find it difficult to make a switch to this type of cleaning routine. Many first-time users, including those using non-heated bidets, report that only after a few days of use they are total converts.
Another misconception is that a bidet leaves you wet afterword. You can dry using toilet paper and flush it just as you would with a toilet - or install a bidet with the drying air option.
I feel compelled to address one other misconception of using a bidet that I have seen repeatedly - Do bidets spray poo everywhere?
No. Just think about it for a second, how well do you suppose a product would sell that flung poo everywhere? Enough said.
